Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is an excellent game. A true evolution from Bad Company. The first good move DICE did was put more emphasis on gun-play rather than vehicular combat. One thing that DICE screwed up was, of course the campaign. While this campaign is fun for the shooty-shooty gun-gun parts, the storyline is a total snore-fest!

Battlefield is a multiplayer focused game. Single player is like an added mod. If you enjoy singleplayer FPS, then buy one of those proper singleplayer games such as Wolfenstein series ( except Youngblood), Far Cry series or the newer Doom games. The tank crew campaign is nice but not 5$ nice.

The campaign is short, but its the same characters from the last Bad Company we know and love. The Ultimate Edition adds in Battlefield 1943, Onslaught mode, and the VIP code (more maps and what-not). This game is worth 60$ to me, even at 3 years old. Solid game that I still play, can't wait for Battlefield: Bad Company 3!
