Mr. Jack first established his Distillery here back in 1866. And so, a century and a half later, Lynchburg, Tennessee is the only place in all the world where Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is made. There are other places and other ways to make Whiskey. But only one place and only one way to make Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey.

Review #632: Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select Tennessee Whiskey. Buffalo Trace may get all the recognition when it comes to their claim that Blanton's was "The Original Single Barrel Bourbon." But if you go back far enough in history, Brown Forman has a pretty good case if they wanted to challenge it. As early as the 1890's, it was said that
I am sure that all of us seasoned connoisseurs know this sour mash Tennessee whiskey quite well. Born in Lynchburg Tennessee, a dry county, and bottled at 80 proof. Corn mash filtered through charcoal, 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal to be precise. Jack is ageless (no age statement) whiskey, but it is matured in newly charred white oak barrels.
Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon is a good bourbon that offers a lot of value. It may be categorized as a bottom shelf spirit, but the same cannot be said about its taste. The liquor is made from the same mash bill used in producing the more high-priced Basil Hayden’s bourbon. However, Old Grand-Dad Bonded bourbon has a much higher proof.
Personally, I think that Jack Daniel's No. 7 is a decent whiskey. I can pick up a distinct spicy note from the palate but it's nothing big or complex. It also doesn't tear a hole in my wallet so for the price it's probably one of my go-to's. All in all, one of my favorites because of it's unique flavour and decent price.

The Flavour. Partly it’s the flavor. Jack Daniel’s, a Tennessee whiskey because of how it is made, has a smokey aroma with hints of caramel and vanilla, with some also reporting notes of butterscotch and toffee. It goes down smooth as silk, leaving a trail of short-lived fire before filling you with warmth. It finishes smooth, the flames

Definitely a substantial step up in quality. I'm not a big fan of either, but I will always gladly drink a Jim Beam. X2 for cant pay me to drink Jack Daniel's, it's truly an embarrassment to the name whiskey. I've personally never liked Jack Daniels Old No. 7. Jim Beam is nicer to drink both neat and with a mixer imo.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey. View this post on Instagram. The honey is present throughout the sip but the touchstones of a good bourbon aren’t masked. You get some oak on the palate and
